For beginners, intermediates and anyone wanting to know more about painting surfaces.

Term 1: Jan 9, 16, 13 (3 sessions)
Term 2: Feb 6, 13, 20, 27; Mar 6, 13 (6 sessions)
Term 3: April 3, 10, 17, 24; May 1, 8, 15, 22 (8 sessions)

Term 1 – Watercolor Bootcamp (Jan 9 – 13): For beginners and those who feel like they’ve missed some essential skills for painting. We will cover all the basics: supplies, brush strokes, color mixing, texture, and more. This class is only for 3 weeks.

Term 2 – Nothing but Flowers (Feb 6 – Mar 13): Studying flowers strengthens many watercolor skills. We will look at the approaches and techniques of at least three artists, from the very loose to the very realistic. Foliage, backgrounds, and compositions are also covered.

Term 3 – Cities and Structures (April 3 – May 22): Adding perspective and texture to buildings, from barns to cityscapes; including people to add interest and scale; and more.
