This is What Happens @ The Barn
There’s something here for everyone — for individuals and families, young and old.
Classes, Workshops, and Meet-Ups
The Barn provides classroom space for art instruction that ranges from one day classes to consecutive days workshops to a series of classes offered weekly.
Our city is rich with arts organizations and artists and our two galleries bring an excellent selection of visual arts to a relaxed and approachable venue.
This is movie night in the Barn’s Loft. Dave Laug, artist and film lover, hosts this series of films about art and/or artists, providing historical background and a scintillating post-movie discussion, and fantastic door prizes. BYOB. There is a registration fee of $5 to cover administrative costs for this educational program.
Mariemont Preservation Presents — for families with young children
The Mariemont Preservation Foundation graciously underwrites this family cultural series at the Barn, bringing such great events as the Playhouse in the Park Off the Hill touring shows, performances by Children’s Theatre and countless parent/child artmaking events.
Barn Book Club
A book club reading about artists, art, and art history! Once a month enjoy wine, nibbles, and lively discourse with Dave Laug and other literary fans in the Main Gallery at The Barn
