Eligibility Women only. Must be at least 18 years of age and reside in Ohio, Indiana, or Kentucky. The goal of this exhibition is to showcase fine art works produced by women from Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky. The focus of the jurying process will be on craftsmanship, color, and composition with an emphasis upon diversity in style and subject. Computer-generated art will not be accepted.


Laurie Risch is Executive Director of the Behringer-Crawford Museum in Covington, Kentucky, and founder of the popular freshART event, now in its 25th year. Ms. Risch has received awards for her vast service to Northern Kentucky historical, arts and women’s organizations. (More info about Laurie Risch — CLICK HERE)
Bridgette Turner, M.F.A., is the owner of Turner Studio & Gallery in Columbus, OH. She is a past President and current Board Member for the Ohio Plein Air Society. In addition to being a professional artist, she has served as juror for state and local art leagues, as well as the Ohio State Fair Plein Air Competition. Artists must submit digital images of artworks for acceptance in the exhibition by midnight, February 28th, 2018. The jurors will determine which works will be in the exhibition and, upon installation of the exhibition, determine the prize winners. Entrants will be notified of acceptance by email and/or phone between March 15th & 17th.

Entrance Fee is for one or two entries and based upon membership status
Woman's Art Club Members (in good standing as of 12-31-17) $50 / All others $65
No more than two entries per artist; juror may select only one entry per artist but is not obligated to do so.

All work must be of original concept and design.
Work created in an instructional setting, including, but not limited to workshops and art classes, are not considered original artwork.

Other requirements (see prospectus for details):

Work must have been created within the last 3 years and not have previously been in a juried exhibition.

Work must be for sale. A 20% commission from sales will be retained by the Woman's Art Club of Cincinnati (WACC).
Wall art must be wired for hanging. (see prospectus for details regarding museum/gallery wrapped canvases)

Maximum size for wall art is 40" in any direction.

Sculpture, glass, and other 3-D art work must be of a measurement to be exhibited atop a pedestal measuring 20x20x39.

Accepted works must be hand-delivered and retrieved when specified: See dates/times for Drop-Off & Pick-Up.

Caroline will photograph up to two artworks per artist and prepare a CD for submission to the Juried Exhibition. Entry forms will be available for on-the-spot submissions.
$10 for 1 piece / $12 for 2 pieces on 1 CD
